SEM Magic is proud to introduce an exciting new initiative—SEM D-League Open Runs—launching on Friday 15 February at Jubilee Park Stadium. This game-based development program is designed to provide ambitious young players with an opportunity to compete, improve, and refine their skills in a structured yet relaxed environment.
WHAT ARE OPEN RUNS?
Unlike traditional training sessions, Open Runs focus on game-based play, allowing players to develop their skills in a competitive yet supportive atmosphere. Each 75-minute session includes:
Guidance from SEM Magic’s experienced coaches
A full-court warm-up to sharpen skills and prepare mentally
A 40-minute game (4 × 10-minute quarters) with referees
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
This program is open to players who:
Have a minimum of three seasons of domestic league experience
Possess a strong understanding of the game
Are committed to working hard and improving their skills
While Open Runs complement the SEM Magic training program, players from all teams and clubs are welcome!
TERM 1 PILOT PROGRAMS – LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE!
Two 3-week pilot programs are being offered at a special introductory price. Places are strictly limited, so register early to secure your spot!
Sophomore Boys (U12 & U14, born 2014-2012)
Dates: 14 February, 21 February, 28 February
Time: 5:15 – 6:30pm
Junior Boys (U14 & U16, born 2012-2010)
Dates: 14 March, 21 March, 28 March
Time: 5:15 – 6:30pm
Cost: $50 per player
