For participants, joining PlayHQ can be a lot like signing up for a new community sport – there’s so much to love right out of the box! But just like trying a new sport or joining a new team, the more they try, the more they’ll get out of it. So the next time you’re talking with your teams, or onboarding ahead of a new season, here’s a few extra-useful features that we think will help your participants get the very most out of their PlayHQ experience.
Stats for life
Our brand new Player Statistics page is designed to give each and every player comprehensive insights into their career performance. All they need to do is log into their Participant Portal, click on My Public Profile – and boom! They can then use the drop-down menu to filter through different sports, and see their stats from every game, in every season, for every team, in every club, across their entire community sporting career. Players can share their stats page with family and friends – or even use it to get a sneak peek at players on rival teams! We can’t wait for the day when sports lovers can look back on a decade of their games and see just how far they’ve come.
Family ties
At PlayHQ, we’ve got a fair few parents who understand that all the coffee in the world can’t fix a hectic weekend morning sports schedule – which is where our Family Account feature comes in. Any parent or guardian can create their own PlayHQ account to manage each of their children’s or dependent’s profiles. They can toggle between these profiles with the drop-down menu and get a crystal-clear overview of their entire family’s sporting schedule, with who needs to be where, when! Family accounts also make signing up for new sports, clubs, or seasons a breeze, because everybody’s details will be automatically saved and pre-filled on the next registration form.
My Teams
Another new and handy feature, the My Teams tab is the easiest way for participants to get a top-down view of all their teams’ ladders, fixtures and results, right there in their PlayHQ profile. They can toggle between sports through the drop-down menu, and select past or upcoming games for more in-depth information. And if you’re signed up as a coach or team manager, you can use the My Teams feature to view your entire squad’s details!
Cashless and carefree
Managing money used to be a guaranteed headache for community sports participants – which is why PlayHQ has stripped all the complexity out of payments, creating an entirely automated, cashless ecosystem for players and admins alike. Players don’t have to worry anymore about withdrawing cash, counting out coins, or depositing the right amount into the right account. Through our integration with Stripe, a world-leader in online payments, PlayHQ members can pay for their registration, merchandise and more, while easily applying family discounts or club vouchers – all online, all cash-free.
